IT Project Manager - Northern CA
About the role
This position involves coordinating the delivery of multiple projects, developing cost-benefit analyses, and creating and reporting on program status. The role requires a self-motivated and organized individual with strong innovation and facilitation skills. The project manager will communicate technical components of initiatives to relevant parties and interface effectively across all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook up the delivery of multiple projects and allocate resources accordingly.
- Develop cost-benefit analyses for the program and manage financial aspects.
- Communicate with executive committees, creating and reporting program status through dashboards.
- Define project governance policies.
- Utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties.
- Interface with all levels across organizational lines, including business units.
- Build team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
- Manage stakeholder communication, change management, and conflict resolution.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma is required.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of related project management experience is required.
- Proven oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent business presentation and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder communication, change management, and conflict resolution.
- Experience with healthcare systems is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college education is preferred but not required.
- A PMP certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and infrastructure (WAN/LAN/Wireless).
- Experience with facility technology and construction projects.
Work Environment
This is a partial remote role requiring the candidate to be located in the Northern California area. An office location will be assigned upon offer extension. The standard shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the expectation of working after hours and on weekends for project go-lives. The position may involve up to 20% travel within the region. The dress code is business casual.
