Responsibilities

  • Manages and directs one more project teams to meet complex project objectives.
  • Reviews, evaluates and formulates project plans, schedules and budgets.
  • Allocates staff and budget resources to meet changing corporate needs.
  • Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project objectives.
  • Organizes and guides project operations through the use of methodologies accepted by the industry.
  • Evaluates and reports progress in terms of quality and performance metrics common to IT projects.
  • Modifies schedules as required.
  • Works with client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support.
  • May direct one or more teams of specialists, analysts and programmers.
  • May contribute to the disaster recovery plan and implements it when necessary.
  • May prepare staff performance evaluations.
  • Keeps informed of technical and managerial advances in IT.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of related experience as a project team member of which at least 3 years have been in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

About the Role

This is a hybrid or remote position. Onsite occasionally as needed, remote requires one day onsite a year.

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $109,000 - $163,695 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
