Responsibilities
- Manages, tracks and coordinates multiple moderately complex projects under limited supervision.
- Identifies and plans project deliverables, milestones, and required activities.
- Reviews project status and modifies schedules or plans as required; prepares and presents project documentation and reports to stakeholders and senior executives.
- Establishes team membership and works with PMO and key stakeholders to establish time commitments and resource allocation.
- Establishes a work plan project activities, iterations or phases.
- Develops strong partnerships with IT/engineering, architecture, business/product managers, and data/analytics leaders to drive strategic and tactical project objectives.
- Identifies key issues and problems; works with key stakeholders to create solutions and design processes or procedures to resolve issues and problems.
- Counsels and mentors junior staff.
- Conducts risk assessment and mitigation for the assigned projects.
- Maintains project documentation and implements project communication plan based on identified stakeholders and commitment analysis.
- Ensures that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives, on schedule, and within budget.
- Ensures that solutions (both technical and non-technical) are developed, tested, and verified against the approved project scope and requirements.
- Motivates team members and facilitates team meetings; adaptively resolves project issues.
- Follows project management standards and procedures for reporting and documentation.
- Performs detailed analysis and recommendation in support of projects.
- Regularly provides project status update for management.
- Benchmarks project management performance continuously to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in project and portfolio management.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Organizational Development, Information Technology or equivalent.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in managing projects or workstreams. Will consider combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge, Skills & Ability: Experience applying Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards to project planning. Experience in leading cross-functional teams. Demonstrates understanding of complex IT infrastructure, roles, and responsibilities. Project manager training and certification preferred. Working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of office products and familiarity with project planning tools. Use existing tools/processes to solve tasks/issues assigned to them.
Pay
USD $85,007.20 - USD $127,510.80 /Yr.
