IT Operations & Procurement Coordinator

This on-site role in Reston, VA is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, process execution, inventory management, and hands-on technical logistics. You will play a critical role in ensuring technology equipment is accurately provisioned, tracked, tested, packaged, and delivered to end users across the company.
Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and quality check PCs and other end-user technology equipment.
- Prepare, pack, ship, receive, and track IT equipment for associates and field locations.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory records and support equipment lifecycle management activities.
- Coordinate device deployments, refreshes, repairs, and lease return activities with IT teams and vendors.
- Process IT purchase requests and ensure systems of record are updated accurately and timely.
- Assist with inventory audits, reporting, and operational process documentation.
- Respond to equipment and procurement-related inquiries, providing excellent customer service to associates.
- Support day-to-day administrative and operational activities that ensure the efficient delivery of technology services across NVR.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Experience working with inventory, logistics, shipping, receiving, or operational support processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience with IT asset management, procurement, inventory management, or help desk operations.
- Familiarity with laptop imaging, provisioning, or hardware deployment processes.
- Experience working with vendors and purchase order systems.
- Knowledge of technology hardware and peripherals.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout office and storage areas as needed.
- Ability to inspect equipment and documentation for quality and accuracy.

Pay
$55,000 - $65,000. Individual pay is determined by factors including the candidate’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, and location.
