IT Network Administrator

Job Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless systems, and VPN technologies.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot networking equipment from vendors such as Fortinet, HPE Aruba, Cisco, and Palo Alto.
• Aid with network design, upgrades, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor system performance and assist with vulnerability remediation and security improvements.
• Work with internal stakeholders to identify requirements and implement reliable technology solutions.
• Provide end-user support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR
• Minimum of 5 years of recent experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and networking environments.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent DoD 8140-approved baseline certification).

Desired Qualifications

• DoD 8140 IAT Level II compliance.
• Security+, CCNA, Fortinet, Aruba, Palo Alto, or similar industry certifications.
• Experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, and SIEM platforms.
• Experience with VMware and endpoint security technologies.
• Familiarity with DFARS, NIST SP 800-53, Zero Trust concepts, and cybersecurity compliance initiatives.
• Experience supporting disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work required for special projects.
