Key Responsibilities
- IT Leadership & Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, managing a small team of help desk and project team members.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to IT staff, fostering a high-performance, task-oriented team culture.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the SVP of Technology to develop and execute long-term strategic plans that align IT initiatives with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for technological advancements and efficiencies within the organization.
- Project Management
- Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Prioritize and delegate tasks effectively to ensure quick and efficient project execution.
- Technical Oversight
- Manage and optimize our cloud-based Azure infrastructure.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to support a mostly remote workforce and client base.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Support Services
- Oversee internal and external help desk operations to ensure timely resolution of IT issues.
- Implement strategies to improve customer service excellence and support efficiency.
- Inventory and purchasing of IT Equipment.
- Acts as the liaison between the OPHP offshore teams and the clients.
- Maintain close alignment with the market leaders to ensure project target and clients’ expectations are met.
- Meet minimum productivity requirements as outlined by the project terms.
- Ability to adhere to client guidelines when superseding other guidelines.
- Assist OPHP Operations leadership by making recommendations for process improvements to further enhance goals and outcomes.
- Handle other related duties as required or assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT roles, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial position.
- Proven experience in managing cloud-based infrastructures, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cloud services, remote workforce support, and help desk operations. Familiarity with healthcare technology platforms is a plus.
- Expert with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, or Azure certifications) are advantageous but not required.
