IT MANAGER

Job Summary

An IT Manager at Knife River is responsible for leading JD Edwards and UKG application teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and managing projects and budgets.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data/Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software package configuration, installation, integration, and maintenance
• 3+ years of experience in software development and maintenance
• 3+ years of supervisory or project management experience
• Demonstrated experience with JD Edwards (JDE) ERP, including planning, implementation, configuration, and ongoing application support
• Must be able to convey business and system principles clearly
• Knowledgeable of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server
• Experience with UKG Suite of applications
• Experience evaluating and redesigning business processes for efficiency
• Experience working with technology vendors and consultants
• Experience with AI to improve ERP and UKG applications

Duties And/or Responsibilities

• Leads JD Edwards and UKG application teams
• Manages full lifecycle of JD Edwards and UKG initiatives
• Develops and administers information technology budget
• Manages IT staff and ensures IT strategy implementation
• Trains and educates IT personnel
• Maintains IT general controls and SOX compliance
• Monitors industry standards and emerging technologies
• Manages implementation and support of JD Edwards and UKG
• Directs and manages external IT service providers
• Defines level of service and negotiate fees

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledgeable of financial modeling for ROI analysis
• Experience with JD Edwards and UKG vendors and service providers
• Experience with AI in ERP and UKG applications
