Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and direct staff in IT department, including ERP Developers and Business Analysts
- Ensure proper function and maintenance of current phone & IT systems, along with developing and researching/implementing new technology
- Recommend adjustments to systems and equipment to ensure cost efficient and effective systems/equipment infrastructure
- Manage ERP and CRM systems
- Project Management
- Strategic Planning
- Document systems and procedures
- Communicate within and between all departments of the organization
- Prepare annual budget
- Maintain working relationships with vendors and third party providers, ensuring contracts are kept up-to-date and cost maintenance strategies are assessed and analyzed on a periodic basis
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for supervision of employees within the IT department.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, perferably in CIS or IT related field
- 4 years of overall IT experience
- Experience with ERP systems
- Must be a self-starter
- Routinely thinks ahead
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret IT and general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, vendors and the general public
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to gain an understanding of operational processes as it relates to technology and communication equipment, and work effectively with operational staff in the coordination of IT projects and identifying operational technology needs
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Knowledge of IT systems, software, phone systems, modern business communication, office procedures and methods
- Skill to manage department employees and ERP system knowledge
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork
