IT Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Aid in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers.
• Perform routine system updates, patching, and security maintenance following change management procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve server, storage, and network issues.
• Maintain backup processes, perform restore testing, and resolve backup-related issues.
• Support AWS S3 buckets used for backup systems.
• Maintain server documentation, including deployment and decommissioning records.
• Support virtualization platforms and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing and execution.
• Provide first-level support for network connectivity issues.
• Assist with infrastructure installations, upgrades, and documentation.
• Lead small to mid-sized infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Support additional systems including network, telephony, and video conferencing tools.
• Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in alignment with ISO standards.
• Perform assigned tasks as part of the disaster recovery test calendar.
• Provide backup helpdesk support, including support for remote sites as needed.
• Image and deploy end-user PCs.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (including Azure MFA setup).
• Afford security remediation efforts identified by the security team.
• Maintain and audit inventories of IT assets (PCs, mobile devices, network equipment, servers) in accordance with ISO27001 processes.
• Follow all IT governance, processes, and company policies.
• Collaborate with global IT, local teams, and end users to support business operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Experience with backup systems and disaster recovery processes.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Exposure to AWS (S3 preferred).
• Understanding of IT security best practices and access management.
• Experience providing helpdesk/end-user support.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in an onsite environment.
• Prior experience supporting ISO27001 or similar compliance frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with infrastructure project coordination or leadership.
• Familiarity with telephony or video conferencing systems.
• Experience in asset/inventory management processes.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
