Responsibilities
- Aid in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers.
- Perform routine system updates, patching, and security maintenance following change management procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve server, storage, and network issues.
- Maintain backup processes, perform restore testing, and resolve backup-related issues.
- Support AWS S3 buckets used for backup systems.
- Maintain server documentation, including deployment and decommissioning records.
- Support virtualization platforms and perform scheduled maintenance.
- Participate in disaster recovery testing and execution.
- Provide first-level support for network connectivity issues.
- Assist with infrastructure installations, upgrades, and documentation.
- Lead small to mid-sized infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Support additional systems including network, telephony, and video conferencing tools.
- Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in alignment with ISO standards.
- Perform assigned tasks as part of the disaster recovery test calendar.
- Provide backup helpdesk support, including support for remote sites as needed.
- Image and deploy end-user PCs.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (including Azure MFA setup).
- Afford security remediation efforts identified by the security team.
- Maintain and audit inventories of IT assets (PCs, mobile devices, network equipment, servers) in accordance with ISO27001 processes.
- Follow all IT governance, processes, and company policies.
- Collaborate with global IT, local teams, and end users to support business operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux server environments.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
- Experience with backup systems and disaster recovery processes.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Exposure to AWS (S3 preferred).
- Understanding of IT security best practices and access management.
- Experience providing helpdesk/end-user support.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in an onsite environment.
- Prior experience supporting ISO27001 or similar compliance frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with infrastructure project coordination or leadership.
- Familiarity with telephony or video conferencing systems.
- Experience in asset/inventory management processes.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
