About the role
As an IT Infrastructure Engineer at Baronie, you’ll join an international environment where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with the Group IT Infrastructure Manager and become an indispensable link within the team. In this role, you’re operationally strong, think strategically about our systems, and have the freedom to independently lead innovative projects. You’ll have the opportunity to grow from a technical support expert into a leader who manages complex projects. Based in our Brugge office, your impact will be felt across the entire organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain our systems and network infrastructure on a daily basis.
- Collaborate closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager and gradually take over projects.
- Lead and manage IT projects from start to finish: analysis, planning, implementation, and delivery.
- Monitor the stability, security, and performance of our infrastructure.
- Actively contribute to shaping and executing our IT roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent through relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and virtualization.
- Good understanding of network management: firewalls, switches, VLANs, routing & switching.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) and cloud-related environments.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility within a team.
- Hands-on mentality combined with a project-based approach.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Willingness to travel between our Belgian and international sites.
