IT ERP Manager

About the role

The IT ERP Manager will oversee the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP platform and its integrations, ensuring system stability and availability. This role involves hands-on involvement in project delivery, enhancements, customizations, support, and licensing.

Responsibilities

• Own the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP platform and related applications and data integrations, ensuring system stability and availability.
• Provide ERP design and configuration expertise for manufacturing operations, supply chain planning, MRP, inventory, purchasing, sales orders, shipments, invoicing, accounting processes and internal controls.
• Lead ERP-related projects and enhancements from request through delivery, ensuring scope, timeline, adoption, and business outcomes are achieved.
• Manage stakeholder relationships; translate business priorities into practical ERP solutions and clear delivery plans.
• Lead, manage, and prioritize work for a small ERP team and manage ERP vendors and third-party solution partners to drive improvements and deliver results.
• Analyze and understand existing system configurations and customizations; identify opportunities to reduce complexity, improve maintainability, and align to Business Central best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive ERP experience and expertise in a manufacturing environment, including 3+ years of ERP management experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ERP experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Proficiency in ERP customization and integration.
