About the role
Vernovis is partnering with an established North American manufacturer of specialty doors, enclosures, and space separation solutions for Commercial and industrial markets. This role is a high impact position managing their ERP Applications.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the techno-functional owner for Infor EQ/CPQ/CSI, and related ERP applications.
- Understand how ERP modules, configurations, workflows, data structures, permissions, documents, and integrations work together.
- Maintain application standards, supportability expectations, and technical documentation.
- Review ERP change requests for application impact, downstream effects, and long-term maintainability.
- Own technical/application escalation for ERP issues that cannot be resolved through standard support.
- Diagnose issues involving configuration, data flow, integrations, permissions, system behavior, workflows, or application defects.
- Define and review technical requirements for ERP integrations involving CRM, CPQ, EDI, Power BI, freight tools, automation platforms, reporting solutions, or third-party systems.
- Support decisions related to APIs, data mapping, middleware, data migration, master data, security, and application dependencies.
- Challenge unnecessary customizations and recommend standard ERP functionality when possible.
- Provide technical feasibility review for ERP enhancements and projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–7+ years of ERP application support, ERP implementation, systems analysis, application management, or techno-functional ERP experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing ERP applications.
- Experience with ERP configuration, integrations, data flows, testing, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
- Ability to translate business requirements into application and technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of ERP process areas including quote-to-cash, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, production, shipping, and reporting.
- Strong analytical, documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with business users, operations leaders, vendors, managed service providers, and IT leadership.
- Working knowledge of Infor CloudSuite Industrial / CSI / SyteLine or comparable manufacturing ERP.
- Working knowledge of ERP configuration, workflows, user permissions, master data, transactions, and support processes.
- Ability to support ERP applications across quoting, order entry, production, inventory, shipping, purchasing, finance-adjacent processes, and reporting.
- Ability to understand integration points between ERP and third-party applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot application issues using structured root-cause analysis.
- Ability to document system behavior, support procedures, data flows, configuration decisions, and known issues.
Qualifications
- Nice to have: Experience with Infor EQ, CPQ, CSI, CRM, IDM, and Factory Track.
- Nice to have: Experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial / SyteLine.
- Nice to have: Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, EDI, middleware, data mapping, reporting platforms, or automation tools.
- Nice to have: Experience supporting multi-site ERP environments.
- Nice to have: Experience with ERP performance issues, latency, timeout troubleshooting, or application optimization.
- Nice to have: Experience with ERP governance, change control, release management, and technical documentation.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Infor CloudSuite Industrial / CSI / SyteLine.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
