About the role
The IT Compliance Specialist will play a crucial part in ensuring Keel’s IT Compliance programs remain robust and up-to-date. This role involves supporting the Manager, Cybersecurity and Compliance in implementing, maintaining, and monitoring various compliance programs.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the implementation and maintenance of the overall compliance programs, including risk assessment, control design, and testing.
- Support process owners in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to monitor significant risks.
- Update documentation related to Risk Control Matrix (narratives, control descriptions, testing results, compensatory procedures).
- Participate in the certification process and remediation plan, coordinating with external auditors to maintain ITGC compliance.
- Assist in special projects such as project and risk assessments, system integrations/automations, and ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Support the preparation and implementation of SOC2 and ISO 27001 programs.
Requirements
- Internal audit certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Internal Auditor.
- At least 3 years of experience in auditing or internal controls for public companies, with Big Four experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ITGC (including SOX), SOC2, and ISO 27001 frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- Excellent communication skills.
