We are seeking a versatile and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our local technology operations team. In this dynamic role, you will bridge traditional desktop support with industrial field services, splitting your time between our corporate office and a fast-paced warehouse setting to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities
- Identify, manage, escalate, and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical issues for local personnel.
- Install, configure, and maintain software, operating systems, print drivers, and system utilities on workstations, laptops, and mobile endpoints.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and manage inventory for desktops, laptops, enterprise printers, scanners, and industrial Android mobile devices.
- Diagnose basic networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN) and manage networked devices using remote desktop tools (RDP, Teams, etc.).
- Provide operational support throughout the facility, including office cubicles and the active warehouse floor (requires safety vest and steel-toed shoes) to maintain heavy-duty thermal printers and industrial equipment.
- Diligently log all troubleshooting steps, inventory changes, and resolutions within the ticketing system.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of dedicated IT/Desktop support experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a customer-facing or corporate support role with a proven track record of excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Deep understanding of user profiles, permissions, system registries, OS recovery tools, imaging, and deployment systems.
- Solid grasp of BIOS/UEFI, hardware drivers, and firmware updates.
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods, wear required warehouse PPE (steel-toed boots), and commit to a staggered weekly shift schedule.
- Availability for occasional weekend project work is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in supporting and configuring the Microsoft Office / M365 suite.
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or equivalent technical certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience supporting technology within a logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.

- Technical: iOS, PC hardware, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WLAN, VLANs, VPN), enterprise applications, Windows desktop/server environments, printer maintenance, mobile device support, asset inventory, and troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service, clear communication, collaboration, organizational skills, ability to work independently and proactively, accountability, and manual dexterity.
Pay
$28 - 30 per hour
