IT Clinical Training Analyst (Principal)
Responsibilities
The Epic Trainer is responsible for conducting training for clinical and non-clinical end users in Epic under the direction of the supervisor. Training is typically conducted in the classroom as well as in the practice.
- Achieve an in-depth understanding of the software, policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Become credentialed in the application that they are teaching.
- Set up and break down training classes, including inventorying and distributing participant supplies.
- Perform quality control by administering proficiency assessments and class evaluations at the end of each session.
- Forward ideas to improve the effectiveness of the training to the rest of the team.
- Employ excellent communication skills in sharing information with users within the department.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: An approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience: Clinical Experience, Adult Education Experience, Microsoft Office Experience, Webex Experience.
Required Certification/Registration: Epic Trainer Credentialed preferred but not required (will train the right candidate).
- Level 1: At least 2 years of relevant clinical, technical, educational, or operational experience required.
- Level 2: At least 5 years of relevant clinical, technical, educational, or operational experience and Epic Credential within 1 year of hire required.
- Level 3: Greater than 5 years of relevant clinical, technical, or operational experience and Epic certification at time of hire required.

Pay
Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range for the role is $33.88-$52.53 hourly. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity).
