IT Applications Specialist | Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform

About the role

Hillyard, Inc. is currently seeking an IT Applications Specialist to join our dynamic IT team in St. Joseph, MO. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging technology to enhance business processes and a keen interest in working closely with users to design, implement, and support solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and develop solutions that align with business needs.
• Create and configure forms, views, dashboards, and workflows within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Monitor and maintain the functionality of integrated applications, automations, and integrations.
• Document and communicate plans, processes, and outcomes effectively.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to automate and modernize systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks from a large user base.
• Experience in monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely project completion.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Field Service, and Customer Service.
• Proficiency in Power Platform, including Power Apps.
• Experience with form, view, dashboard, and workflow development.
• Understanding of release management, change management, and project approval processes.
• Knowledge of security models and UI development for business applications.
