ISF Coordinator
About the role
Monitoring and filing Customs Importer Security Filings (ISF). File ISF filings and provide all other ISF filing activities according to Expeditors policies, customer needs, and applicable regulations. Provide exceptional customer service, keep in close contact with customers and origin offices to ensure shipments are filed accurately and timely. Ensure all work is handled efficiently by completing filings timely and accurately. Work out discrepancies of filings not on file. Assist with monitoring all ISF filings (in not ready, rejected, accepted with warnings, draft status) on a daily basis. Monitor IHO Events from origin on workboard. Assist with reporting (mismatch report troubleshooting). Ensure adherence to the required minimum of 52 annual training hours for all staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferably 1-2 years in the freight forwarding industry
- ISF experience a plus
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, communicate clearly, and concisely to obtain positive results
