About the role

The Invoicing Clerk is responsible for processing invoices and ensuring accuracy and timely payment of accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process incoming invoices from vendors
  • Verify invoice details against purchase orders and contracts
  • Input invoice data into the accounting system
  • Prepare and mail payment requests to vendors
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely payments
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

  • Proficient in using accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Pay

  • $20.00 per hour

Schedule

  • 8 hours daily, Monday – Friday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
