Investment Committee Member

About the role

As an Investment Committee Member, you will play a trusted advisory role in how Funders In Good directs its resources towards Muslim-led social ventures with real potential for impact. You will review funding recommendations, test them against our mission, and bring constructive challenge on the thinking behind each proposal. Success here relies as much on judgment and emotional intelligence as on technical expertise. You will bring independence of thought, warmth and cultural sensitivity, able to ask searching questions with respect, and to strengthen the quality of FIG’s decision-making while deepening trust across our wider network.

Reporting

Reports to: FIG Board of Trustees

Location

Meetings normally held online, with occasional in‑person sessions or events across the UK.

Term

Initial term of 2 years, renewable once by mutual agreement.

Pay

Voluntary role. Reasonable expenses paid.
