Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, Roth is a privately held, employee-owned organization and maintains offices throughout the U.S. Roth is looking to add an Investment Banking Analyst to our Technology Team. Our entrepreneurial culture provides Analysts with the opportunity to make significant contributions to engagements with exposure to live deals and on the job learning experience. Investment Banking Analysts are an important part of deal teams, work closely with senior-level bankers, and are responsible for assisting in the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions for public and private companies. This in-person role will be in the firm’s Newport Beach, CA office. Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To) Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analysesPrepare pitch books, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and marketing materials for client and internal useConduct industry, company, and market research to support deal origination and executionSupport due diligence processes, including data room management and coordination with legal, accounting, and other advisorsAnalyze financial statements and public filings to assess company performance and valuationCoordinate with senior bankers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail Skills And Attributes Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelingSolid understanding of accounting principles, corporate finance, and valuation methodologiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Outstanding academic credentials with a Bachelor’s Degree in related areas of study including Business, Finance, Economics and/or Accounting0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or full-time) in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related fieldSecurities Industry Essentials - SIE, Series 79, and 63 (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe) Compensation $72,000+ Semi-Annual Bonus Powered by JazzHR
