About the role
As an Experienced Analyst in the Technology Group, you will work with senior professionals covering Software and Digital Media clients, supporting M&A and capital raise transactions. The role involves researching industry developments, analyzing financial statements, and preparing marketing materials and presentations.
Responsibilities
- Support teams working on M&A as well as equity and debt capital raises
- Research economic and industry-specific developments (e.g., supply chain software, proptech, education technology, HCM software, semiconductors, sports tech)
- Analyze financial statements and investment attributes of publicly traded and private companies
- Prepare marketing materials and presentations
- Collaborate with senior colleagues, clients, and counterparties
Requirements
- At least 1 year of investment banking experience (technology coverage preferred)
- Strong academic track record in finance, accounting, business, or economics
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- High degree of intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous learning
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in work product
- Ability to manage rapid timelines and proactively address potential conflicts
- Sound judgment, independent decision-making, and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders
- Commitment to the firm and its clients
Pay
The estimated salary range for this role is $110,000–$120,000, with actual compensation varying based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Additional discretionary incentive compensation may apply.
