As an Experienced Analyst, you will work with senior professionals covering Software and Digital Media clients, supporting M&A as well as equity and debt capital raises. You will learn about a range of end-markets, including supply chain software, proptech, education technology, HCM software, semiconductors, and sports tech.
Responsibilities
- Research economic and industry-specific developments
- Analyze financial statements and other investment attributes of publicly traded and private companies
- Help prepare marketing materials and other presentations
- Support teams working on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raises
Requirements
- At least 1 year of investment banking experience (class of '25 or '26, technology coverage preferred)
- Strong academic track record, with a background in finance, accounting, business, or economics
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- High degree of intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously learn
- Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work product
- Ability to manage rapid timelines and proactively address potential conflicts
- Comfort presenting to and engaging with senior colleagues, clients, and counterparties
- Commitment to the firm and its clients
Skills
- Sound judgment and ability to make informed decisions independently
Pay
The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is $110,000–$120,000. Actual salary at the time of hire may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
