Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders
• Order material for upcoming jobs
• Track deliveries, backorders, and ETA’s
• Cook with supply houses and vendors
• Ensure materials arrive before scheduled jobs
• Communicate delays or material concerns proactively
• Aid in maintaining inventory accuracy
• Maintain organized warehouse and material staging
• Track missing or delayed materials
• Support inventory processes and workflow improvements
• Review upcoming jobs and identify material needs
• Aid in maintaining organized purchasing documentation
• Communicate with office staff, technicians, and leadership
• Support daily operational workflow and scheduling readiness
• Aid in vendor follow-up and material coordination

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong communication skills
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn software systems
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, or operations coordination preferred
• Electrical industry experience is a plus but not required

Qualifications

• Demonstrate the highest standards of ethics and integrity
• Meet company standards for pre-employment background and drug screening
• Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or customers; manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, and lifting of objects (typically up to 50 pounds), and operating power tools
• This is a Safety Sensitive position per Act 593 of 2017
