Inventory Mgmt Spec III (Spvr)

About the role

Maintains and manages warehouse replenishment requirements for assigned commodities.

Responsibilities

• Makes purchase orders, records of delivery, and amendments for efficient warehouse replenishment.
• Maintains coordination of purchase orders, PCPO orders, and tracking of distribution of regular stock and promotion inventory.
• Forecasts, coordinates, negotiates, and executes processes and business systems for multiple categories to ensure adequate supply of all materials.
• Negotiates with vendors on expediting goods, discrepancies in deliveries, and disposition of aged material.
• Balances stocks through redistribution of product between distribution centers and administers decisions on tally-in information from distribution centers.
• Responds to inquiries regarding inventory issues.
• Supervises PB inventory manager teams and conducts personnel evaluations.
• Executes orders and amendments or changes to orders under warehouse requirements systems for assigned categories of food/expense inventory.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in inventory management.
• Or a combination of a Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in inventory management.
• Preferred major/minor: Business Administration.

Qualifications

• Onsite at HQ in Dallas, Texas.
• Candidates eligible for the Military Spouse Exemption may be considered for remote work.
