Inventory Spec - HVI Proc
About the role
This position is responsible for HVI inventory management, inventory controls, expiration tracking, and vendor management related to returns and inventory levels. The Inventory Specialist maintains the electronic inventory database, generates reports, and works closely with the Inventory/Contract Supervisor. The role requires a higher level of critical skills to perform essential functions.
Responsibilities
- Maintains inventory and makes changes as necessary while tracking a history of changes.
- Checks stock daily on all supplies and orders as needed, including non-inventory supplies.
- Resolves inventory discrepancies and communicates issues such as backorders, missing case data, inventory system updates, barcode updates, and physical inventory with vendors.
- Manages inventory for custom packs, consignments, cost savings documentation, vendor quarterly savings, reprocessing reviews, cycle counting, and documentation.
- Assists RT Leads with updating ABC status, inventory recalls, specialty orders, gases, trunk stock, and LINQ supplies.
- Participates in department inventory meetings and inventory system customer meetings.
- Arranges annual reviews/reports for custom packs, PAR cart, inventory, and no-use items.
- Ensures a continuous supply of goods to enable smooth operational flow while keeping inventory at its lowest possible level.
- Works to reduce expenses through cost-saving initiatives.
- Completes trunk stock bill POs and reviews CPD/Storeroom supplies, ordering as needed.
- Manages the flow of supplies, including pulling expired items from Spacetrax (Qsight), Omnicell, and Not PAR Cart lists, and emails Leads about upcoming 90-day expirations.
- Assists in the distribution of supplies and oversees coordination of defective equipment replacements.
- Provides reports from the database to HVI leadership and maintains accuracy of the HVI inventory database.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $15.74 per hour – $25.50 per hour. The actual compensation offered will depend on factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
