Inventory Control Specialist - 3rd Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains current inventory levels and investigates reoccurring problems.
• Processes in BC, purchase orders, production orders, transfer orders, inventory adjustments, etc.
• Receives inbound product (WIP, finished goods) and materials.
• Understands the physical flow of product through production and how BC processes each movement in and out of inventory.
• Troubleshoots BC related problems in all departments, contact Columbus IT if necessary.
• Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.
• May lead, guide, and train team members.
• Ensures all SOPs established for the department are being followed and all guidelines set forth by OSHA, USDA, and SQF are being followed.
• Takes a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing and safety or quality concerns.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
