What You’ll Do

  • Receive materials and enter data into the inventory tracking system accurately.
  • Inspect items received, compare counts and measures to purchase orders and packing lists, and document discrepancies and damages.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing to manage damages and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Communicate with Cost Accounting, Scheduling, and other support employees as needed.
  • Adjust inventory via negative balance sheets to align with cycle counting results and reconciliations.
  • Assist Accounts Payable with invoice reconciliation when necessary.
  • Maintain organization of finished products.
  • Perform physical inventory processes, including preparation and material cycle counting.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures, including the Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.
  • Maintain awareness of individual contributions to quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.

Additional Expectations

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies, including the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to supervisors, managers, or the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You'll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years warehouse, inventory, or shipping experience.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Teamwork and interface with a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Current and valid Driver’s License.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Online real-time manufacturing control systems, including MAPICS or other in-house computer processes.
  • Various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment or parts and work near moving mechanical parts.
