The impact you’ll make
- Maintain current inventory levels, control the outflow and inflow of inventory
- Record purchases, maintain database, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports
- Develop inventory process enhancements, investigate daily inventory issues and determine resolution
- Lead the annual inventory process in collaboration with accounting
- Assists in developing and initiating control policies and procedures and in planning activities that relate to inventory control in the organization.
- Maintain first expired, first out (FEFO) inventory management method for perishable goods across distribution centers
- Analyze inventory statistics to determine which products are selling the most and which are under-performing, analyzing weeks on hand for individual stock keeping units (SKU)
- Process and document returns as required following established procedures
- Tracks inventory maintenance and keeps management up to date regarding inventory inflow and outflow; compiles inventory information and presents it to management with recommendations for effective decision making, which may include the need for restock or for quick resolution of issues.
- Support management in training department personnel, scheduling work assignments, and monitoring quality controls
Who you are
- Prefers a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Logistics, Business Administration, or similar field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in inventory control position
- Additional Experience Desired: of experience in
- Computer Skills Desired: Advanced Excel skills, including: create spreadsheets, pivot tables and charts, use and write formulas and functions, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, use sort, filter, and other data analysis functions
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Familiar with SAP and EDI programs is a plus

$20 - $26 USD
