Inventory Control Group Lead (Shipping & Receiving) CVG 100 403 Shift

Working hours for this position are Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations as defined in the inventory control procedures.
• Assist in monitoring department performance to ensure optimum efficiency, utilizing existing procedures or suggesting revisions/new procedures as needed.
• Drive the shortest processing time possible for all received material and continually improve processing time performance.
• Recommend overtime or other recovery methods as necessary.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and visual aids are in proper working order and up to date.
• Provide frequent and accurate feedback to Inventory Control and Quality departments; assist with problem-solving related to schedules, equipment, documentation, and personnel.
• Interface with departmental supervisors, support functions, engineering, program management, and other plant operations teams.
• Ensure accuracy of record-keeping for shipping, receiving, and stockroom documents.
• Verify aging of material in receiving and shipping locations; ensure accuracy of these materials.
• Ensure the production line receives the correct parts for manufacturing.
• Stock all material promptly and accurately.
• Eliminate errors that impact quality, budget, and department efficiency.
• Identify performance issues and strengths for team members and report to Inventory Control supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules associated with this position.
• Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
