General Description
Records and maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced.
Duties
- Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures
- Receive and enter verification data for inventory
- Unpack and perform quality and quantity checks on manufacturer
- Store and log material within a storage facility using a forklift truck, hoist, or other material handling equipment
- Perform cycle/inventory counts of product inventory
- Properly label product locations
- Adjust inventory in database, if applicable/as requested
- Maintain various files and records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of verifiable logistics experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to leverage available resources to accomplish objectives
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day
- Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands, working at heights with fall protection devices
- Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders
- May be required to lift up to 25 pounds and carry for short distances
- Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth
