Essential Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated storage locations following FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
- Pick and stage inventory for internal departments as requested.
- Track incoming, outgoing, and transferred inventory transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
- Perform daily inventory replenishment to production and fulfillment areas.
- Conduct scheduled and ad hoc cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and assist with inventory audits.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, reporting variances to the Inventory Lead or Supervisor.
- Maintain organized inventory locations and ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively communicate shortages, damaged goods, and inventory inconsistencies.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries while verifying quantities and product condition.
- Remove damaged, expired, or obsolete inventory following company procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation for inventory movements and inventory adjustments.
- Operate material handling equipment safely after completing required training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Follow all applicable quality, pharmacy, and regulatory procedures when handling inventory.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Perform other inventory and warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of inventory, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience with inventory management systems, ERP, or warehouse management software preferred.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to perform inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Ability to read inventory reports, labels, and product documentation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts is preferred.
Work Schedule
Monday – Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime may be required based on business needs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment after completing required training.
