Inventory Clerk (Automotive)

About the Role

Cavender Auto Family is seeking a talented Automotive Inventory Clerk to join our team at Cadillac of Lubbock, Texas. We are on a mission to be the most trusted automotive group in the nation—known more for the relationships we build than the vehicles we sell.

What You Will Be Doing

• Records all incoming inventory from manufacturer and all used vehicle purchases
• Posts all new vehicles from manufacturer to inventory and GL
• Stocks and bills out all dealer trades and prepares Certificates of Origin
• Verifies all liens are paid in full or otherwise makes appropriate payoffs
• Issues equity checks for purchases that have equity
• Floors and pays off flooring on all sold units
• Posts all incoming and outgoing rental vehicles to inventory
• Monthly floorplan reconciliations
• Works with floorplan auditors during floorplan audits
• Maintains professional appearance and neat work area
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience preferred
• CDK experience preferred
• Valid State Driver's License required
• Must consent to pre-employment background, MVR and Drug screen
• Must have strong attention to detail

Pay

Starting pay is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour (depending on experience)
