Inventory Associate – Driver

Starting wage: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour with performance-based pay increases up to $5.00 per hour.

About the role

Join WIS International and help top retailers accurately count inventory. No prior inventory experience is required—we provide all the training you need. This role is ideal for those who enjoy staying active, working on their feet, and being rewarded for strong performance.

This team works primarily with a single customer in the home improvement segment, traveling weekly to customer locations across the region.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport employees to and from inventory events in a timely manner.
• Count and record retail inventory using handheld scanners.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Meet productivity goals to increase earnings through performance-based pay.
• Travel to retail locations, including occasional overnight assignments.

Work environment

• Spend most of your shift standing and walking for extended periods.
• Bend, kneel, squat, and reach frequently.
• Climb ladders when needed.
• Lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
• Work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old to qualify as a van driver; at least 18 years old to drive a personal vehicle for business needs.
• Valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months.
• Minimum of three (3) years of proven driving experience.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, screening, and MVR check.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation to assigned locations.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including very early mornings and/or late nights.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable using handheld technology.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Qualifications

Retail, stocking, merchandising, warehouse, customer service, cashier, delivery driver, general labor, or athletic/coaching experience are all valuable backgrounds. No degree is required. Veterans, career changers, and candidates returning to the workforce are encouraged to apply.
