Intramural Student Associate (SMC Student Only)
Position Overview
The Intramural Student Associate at Spartanburg Methodist College plays a key role in delivering fun, safe, and inclusive recreational sports experiences for the campus community. This position supports the Office of Student Engagement by helping organize and officiate manage intramural leagues, tournaments, and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate, scorekeep, or timekeep during intramural sports events.
- Ensure fair play and adherence to game rules.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and promote sportsmanship among students.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Perform routine checks of equipment and facilities and inform supervisors of maintenance needs.
- Report damages, broken equipment, or safety concerns promptly.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive recreation environment.
