Intramural Sports Official (Student Associate) - Campus Recreation Center

Primary Duties

• Maintain game play fairness and mitigate risk.
• Understand and apply current sport rules.
• Attend all mandatory trainings and meetings.
• Adhere to and enforce risk management guidelines and policies.
• Complete necessary paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with staff, participants, and spectators.
• Assist with facility set-up and tear-down.
• Conduct and/or assist with daily cleaning operations.
• Absorb all staff policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Procure and handle concussion recognition certification.
• Assist in marketing the Intramural Sports program.

Additional Information

• Campus Recreation offers development opportunities including conferences and RDL committee roles.
• The position may require early mornings, late nights, and weekends.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or secondary school, at least part-time (except summer term).
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Essential Certifications

• Clery Certification
• Fire Extinguisher Certification
• NFHS Concussion in Sports Certification

Compensation and Benefits

• $11.40/Hour
• 20% discount of programs and services (excluding Pro Shop)
