About the role

The Faulkner Automotive Group is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Internet Sales Consultant to join their team. Faulkner offers a career path where employees can grow within the organization. While automotive experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers via the dealership website to answer questions about inventory, product features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Respond to all inquiries in a timely manner and stay updated on all inventory and online promotions.
  • Bring interested customers into the dealership so they can meet with a sales team member.
  • Follow up with leads, sold, and unsold customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in retail or internet sales.
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Understanding of manufacturer specifications or passing manufacturer tests.

Pay

A competitive salary plus commission for appointments set and deals completed, offering unlimited earning potential.

Schedule

The typical schedule for an Internet Sales Consultant is Monday through Friday, plus 1-2 Saturdays a month. Hours are typically 40-42 hours per week.

Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license, and possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in retail or internet sales.

Skills

Strong written and oral communication skills, understanding of manufacturer specifications, and ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
