Internet Account Executive
CORT is seeking a full-time, remote Internet Account Executive to join the Multifamily Housing Team. This role involves guiding new and existing customers across the U.S. in selecting furniture from our online catalog, supporting current leases, and coordinating deliveries and pickups. The ideal candidate has experience achieving sales or service goals and working directly with customers through phone, chat, or email.
About the role
This is a fully remote position based in the Eastern time zone. CORT will provide the necessary equipment and a monthly phone/internet stipend.
Responsibilities
- Assist potential customers with detailed information about CORT’s furniture solutions nationwide.
- Consult and educate customers on the value of CORT’s products and services tailored to their unique needs.
- Create quotes and follow up to secure closed rental agreements, generating revenue for CORT.
- Assist current customers with questions and direct them to appropriate departments as needed.
- Accurately capture customer information in Salesforce for communication and record-keeping.
- Respond to customer requests via phone, email, and chat in a timely manner while maintaining a customer-focused attitude.
- Escalate issues through appropriate channels when necessary.
- Use problem-solving skills to handle unpredictable situations.
- Consistently meet performance standards, including schedule adherence, call quality, and sales goals.
- Spend 50% of your time taking calls on a defined schedule and 50% on customer follow-up, training, and reporting.
- Assist in other projects and activities as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a customer-related field; multi-family industry or contact center experience preferred.
- Customer-focused attitude with creative problem-solving skills to handle difficult situations.
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent documentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
Pay
Starts at $22/hour with weekly pay.
Schedule
A typical schedule is 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. EST, but hours may vary due to seasonality and customer demand. You may be required to work up to two Saturdays per month.
