Digital Account Executive
About the role
The Digital Account Executive (AE) for Home Team Sports (HTS) will be responsible for revenue growth for all HTS digital offerings, through sales to agencies and clients directly. This role will develop a solid understanding of HTS integrated Digital offerings, utilizing superb consultative selling skills and in addressing client needs to generate revenue. Key responsibilities include building a productive sales pipeline, managing account relationships, and driving digital revenue.
Responsibilities
- Pursue, develop, and maintain effective business relationships across all agency and client layers in the digital media marketplace
- Create and develop new concepts, packages, and platforms in collaboration with all complementary internal groups
- Develop innovative digital sales strategies and opportunities tailored specifically to HTS products
- Develop relationships with other digital and media technology companies, agencies, startups, etc., and develop strategic partnerships and revenue opportunities
- Collaborate with HTS Integrated Sales team to develop digital stand-alone partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, with preference in Sports Media, Communications, Marketing or related fields
- 3-5 years of digital, sales, and/or agency experience in sports or entertainment field
- Interest in and general understanding of the sports industry, and current contacts within the aforementioned business sectors
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, presentation, and public speaking, and project management skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office computer applications, including Word and Outlook
- Ability for analytical reasoning of sales and research data (CPM, impressions, site metrics, data analysis, etc.)
- Technologically savvy with propensity for understanding new technology platforms and how they apply to our business model
Qualifications
- A proven ability to develop and maintain successful internal and external business relationships
- Regular travel may be required to attend meetings, conduct trainings, etc.

- Ability to analyze and interpret sales and research data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of digital media and technology platforms
