Role
Your Role at Batesville:
- Owning and growing a defined portfolio of international customers
- Actively developing new business opportunities
- Serving as the voice of the local market—bringing customer, competitive, and product insights into the organization
- Driving incremental revenue opportunities forward
- Providing customer support during the full buying journey
- Proactively building relationships using Batesville’s standard sales process
- Communicating with Batesville associates and customers to continually monitor, document, and provide feedback as needed

- The expected hourly pay range for this role is $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, with total compensation including the opportunity to earn up to an additional 20% based on performance. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

Qualifications
What You’ll Do:
- Conducts outbound calls and virtual meetings to sell our products to grow Batesville’s overall book of business.
- Manages customer engagement across the sales lifecycle, from initial inquiry through deal close and ongoing relationship management.
- Proactively identifies, qualifies, and pursues new customer opportunities within assigned regions or markets.
- Conducts early-stage opportunity discovery, needs assessment, and solution positioning.
- Develops a strong understanding of local market dynamics, customer needs, and buying behaviors and translates into actionable insights for leadership.
- Maintains accurate CRM documentation of customer interactions, opportunities, pipeline, and insights.
- Attends industry-related associations and conventions as needed.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university is strongly preferred
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, business development, or related roles.
- Experience working with small or developing account bases preferred
- Experience working in international markets is preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience is required
- CRM/Call Management experience preferred
Requirements
