Role

Your Role at Batesville:

  • Owning and growing a defined portfolio of international customers
  • Actively developing new business opportunities
  • Serving as the voice of the local market—bringing customer, competitive, and product insights into the organization
  • Driving incremental revenue opportunities forward
  • Providing customer support during the full buying journey
  • Proactively building relationships using Batesville’s standard sales process
  • Communicating with Batesville associates and customers to continually monitor, document, and provide feedback as needed

  • The expected hourly pay range for this role is $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, with total compensation including the opportunity to earn up to an additional 20% based on performance. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

  • Conducts outbound calls and virtual meetings to sell our products to grow Batesville’s overall book of business.
  • Manages customer engagement across the sales lifecycle, from initial inquiry through deal close and ongoing relationship management.
  • Proactively identifies, qualifies, and pursues new customer opportunities within assigned regions or markets.
  • Conducts early-stage opportunity discovery, needs assessment, and solution positioning.
  • Develops a strong understanding of local market dynamics, customer needs, and buying behaviors and translates into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Maintains accurate CRM documentation of customer interactions, opportunities, pipeline, and insights.
  • Attends industry-related associations and conventions as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university is strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, business development, or related roles.
  • Experience working with small or developing account bases preferred
  • Experience working in international markets is preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience is required
  • CRM/Call Management experience preferred

Requirements

Associate must be able to travel 5 % of the time.
