McLeod Health is actively seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician interested in a Faculty position to join our newly created Internal Medicine Residency Program. This program just welcomed our first class of 13 residents in July 2026. This Faculty role combines outpatient continuity clinic with inpatient teaching and attending responsibilities. This position offers the opportunity to care for patients in both settings while mentoring and educating residents Position Requirements Prior educational experience and/or administrative experience preferred but not required.Must hold current Internal Medicine Board Certification by the ABIM or be Board eligibleWe will consider board-certified FM trained physicians with >3 years of teaching experienceOutpatient procedural skill set (shoulder and knee injections, derm procedures, I and D) preferred but not required.Eligible for full licensure to practice medicine in the state of South Carolina.Eligible for unrestricted Active Medical Staff privileges.Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Demonstrate values and behaviors consistent with McLeod Health’s values and behavior standards.
