About the role
Seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine physician to serve as Core Faculty in a well-established, ACGME-accredited residency program.
Responsibilities
- Teach, mentor, and supervise residents in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Maintain an active clinical practice delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered care, including preventive, chronic, and acute services.
- Participate in scholarly activities such as research, quality improvement, and academic presentations.
- Engage in committee work, program leadership, and strategic planning to support program growth and accreditation.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Eligibility for unrestricted California medical licensure
- Passion for resident education and clinical excellence
- Experience in rural or underserved communities preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills

Schedule
Approximately 16 hours per week devoted to residency administration, curriculum development, and resident evaluation.
