Position Overview

McLeod Health is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician for an outpatient faculty role in their new Internal Medicine Program starting in July 2026.

Requirements

• Prior educational experience and/or administrative experience preferred but not required
• Must hold current Internal Medicine Board Certification by the ABIM or be Board eligible
• We will consider board-certified Family Medicine trained physicians with >3 years of teaching experience
• Outpatient procedural skill set (shoulder and knee injections, derm procedures, I and D) preferred but not required
• Eligible for full licensure to practice medicine in the state of South Carolina
• Eligible for unrestricted Active Medical Staff privileges
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Demonstrate values and behaviors consistent with McLeod Health’s values and behavior standards
