About the role

Join a new clinic as the Lead Physician in General Internal Medicine, where you will develop and shape a clinical practice tailored to your personal interests. Collaborate with a dedicated team of APRNs, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow a comprehensive internal medicine practice, including specialized programs such as obesity or sports medicine.
• Serve as the primary leader for the new clinic, supporting recruitment efforts and coordinating rotating specialists.
• Engage in medical education by mentoring students, participating in curriculum design, and offering teaching at the clinic and the UConn Health campus.
• Focus on delivering high-quality patient care and making a community impact with minimal remote call duties.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and teaching skills.
• Ability to develop and implement innovative clinical programs.
