Internal Communications & Social Media Specialist
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Internal Communications & Social Media Specialist to strengthen employee engagement and manage our digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and distribute employee communications, including newsletters, announcements, and updates.
Partner with leadership and departments to align messaging and keep employees informed.
Support company culture initiatives, employee engagement campaigns, and internal events.
Maintain internal communication platforms (such as intranet, email systems, or messaging tools).
Manage and grow the company’s official Facebook page, ensuring content is engaging, timely, and aligned with company objectives.
Support and coordinate content for affiliate Facebook pages as needed.
Develop and execute social media strategies to increase reach and audience engagement.
Track performance analytics and adjust strategies to improve impact.
Copywriting & Content Development
Write clear, consistent, and engaging copy for internal and external audiences.
Affiliate with website content and collateral material as needed.
Ensure messaging reflects the company’s voice and values across all channels.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
2+ years of experience in internal communications, social media, or related roles.
Strong writing and editing skills with a knack for engaging storytelling.
Experience managing corporate social media accounts.
Highly organized, with the ability to balance multiple projects.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) a plus.
Experience with social media analytics and reporting.
Ability to collaborate across departments and adapt messaging for different audiences.
