Internal Communications Manager

About the role

A key member of OneDigital’s Internal Communications team, the Internal Communications Manager plays a hands-on role in crafting compelling content that informs, aligns, and inspires our growing workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute communications plans supporting HR wellbeing programs, employee engagement, DEI&B, the internal launch of new products and services, and keeping our people informed about the overall strategic direction of the company.
  • Partner with Learning and Development and other teams to incorporate change management principles into communications strategies and tactics.
  • Write, edit, and publish internal content including newsletters, leadership messages, intranet articles, and social media posts.
  • Manage and update intranet pages and campaign content using Microsoft Viva/SharePoint.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to align messaging and publish employee-facing social media content.
  • Monitor performance metrics and employee feedback to continuously improve communications effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a corporate communications and/or internal communications role, ideally with a large firm with a diverse employee base.
  • Strong project management and time management experience required. Must be able to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, business, marketing or related field.
  • Team player who believes in the power of collaborative work, strong internal relationship building with a strong client service mindset.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio of content across multiple channels.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, especially HR, IT, product development, marketing and sales teams.
  • Experience publishing and managing content via intranet platforms (Microsoft Viva/SharePoint preferred).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Canva, HubSpot, and Appspace is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with a service-oriented mindset.

Pay

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
