About D-Matrix d-Matrix is the semiconductor company pioneering low-latency AI inference for data centers. The company has a current valuation of $2 billion, having raised $450M from investors including Microsoft's M12, Temasek, Samsung, SK Hynix, the Qatar Investment Authority, and Singapore's EDBI. Corsair, the company's flagship inference accelerator, is in full production and shipping to hyperscalers, neoclouds, and frontier AI labs. About The Role The Communications Manager is a versatile, hands-on role split across two critical functions: internal/recruitment communications and corporate social media. You'll be the person who ensures d-Matrix employees feel informed, aligned, and connected to the company's mission while also building the company's social media presence across LinkedIn, X, and other channels. This is a building role. You'll be working directly with the VP to establish internal comms processes, creating social media playbooks, and supporting a newly formed communications function with direct access to the CEO. Key Responsibilities Internal & Employee Communications (50%) Develop and execute internal communication strategy to keep employees aligned on company direction, milestones, and prioritiesWrite and manage regular internal communications: office updates, all-hands updates, milestone announcements, and company newslettersEnsure employees hear company news from leadership before they read about it in the pressSupport employer branding and recruitment communications in partnership with HR — including careers page content, hiring narratives, and onboarding materialsSupport change management communications for organizational transitions, leadership hires, acquisitions, and policy updates Corporate Social Media (50%) Own day-to-day management and content execution across d-Matrix's corporate social media channels (LinkedIn, X, YouTube)Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with corporate communications cadence, product milestones, events, and press coverageDraft social media posts for the corporate handles, including news amplification, thought leadership content, event coverage, and partner announcementsSupport the VP and PR Senior Manager with social media amplification of press coverage, executive posts, and campaign contentMonitor social media engagement, track metrics, and report on performanceStay current on platform trends, AI industry conversations, and competitor social activity Team & Operational Support Provide operational support for the communications function: opening and tracking POs, managing vendor invoices, maintaining team files and toolsMaintain and organize shared resources including messaging documents and content librariesSupport event logistics and coordination as needed, in partnership with the VP and agency partnersHelp maintain the corporate website content in coordination with marketing colleagues What You Bring 3-5 years of experience in communications, social media, or content marketing – ideally in technology, B2B, or a startup environmentStrong writing and editing skills across multiple formats: social posts, internal emails, newsletters, and short-form contentExperience managing corporate social media channels and understanding of platform best practices (LinkedIn and X in particular)Organizational skills and attention to detail, i.e. you can manage multiple workstreams, track deadlines, and keep the team's operations running smoothlyComfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and adaptability is valuedA genuine interest in AI, technology, and the semiconductor industry – you don’t need to be a technical expert, but you should be curious and eager to learnProficiency with tools like Slack, SharePoint, social media management platforms, and basic project management toolsA team-first mindset – you're happy to roll up your sleeves on operational tasks and understand that great communications teams run on both strategy and execution What We Offer A foundational role in a growing communications function at one of the most closely watched AI infrastructure companiesDirect exposure to executive leadership and company strategy, with your work highly visible across the organizationCompetitive salary, equity, and benefitsA collaborative, growth-minded team that values learning, curiosity, and editorial craftHybrid work environment Location Santa Clara, California — hybrid (minimum 3 days in office per week).
