Intern - Nurse II Neuro ICU

About the Role

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific group of patients to support quality outcomes. Facilitates communication with staff, patients, and guests and performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under RN guidance.
• Contributes to and implements the care plan with RN oversight.
• Evaluates patient responses to care.
• Assists nursing staff with patient care.
• Participates in activities to enhance healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge and engages in ongoing education.
• Completes assigned goals.

Qualifications

• Graduates from a registered nursing program, pending licensure, with a maximum of 90 days as a Nurse Intern II.
• Computer literacy.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire preferred.
