Position Overview
The Administrative Intern at UES will provide support to both the Human Resources and Recruiting teams while gaining practical, hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment. This role will assist with administrative functions and recruitment activities. The internship is designed to give someone exposure to Recruiting and Human Resources functions while developing organizational, communication, and project coordinating skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including reviewing applications, phone screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.
- Support onboarding activities and employee engagement initiatives.
- Help maintain accurate candidate and employee information, files, and HR records.
- Conduct research on HR programs, policies, and best practices to support departmental initiatives.
- Provide clerical support including filing, data entry, and preparing reports.
- Assist with drafting internal communications and preparing materials for leadership.
- Collaborate across departments to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with social media platforms preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
