About the role
This internship supports the HR team with a focus on recruiting, candidate outreach, onboarding, and corporate communications. It is ideal for someone interested in talent acquisition and HR operations who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable interacting with internal and external partners. The role offers exposure to employer branding and communication initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the recruiting process by sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and HR databases with a high level of accuracy
- Assist with job postings across platforms and help track posting performance
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including document preparation, file management, and data entry
- Assist with onboarding activities and new hire documentation
- Support reporting and tracking of recruiting and HR metrics
- Create graphics and assist with generating content for employer branding initiatives
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong career interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, and HR operations
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable handling outreach and communicating professionally with candidates via email and phone
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to work on-site in Orlando, FL
- Must be eligible for a U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and interest in employer branding/social media
- Experience with Canva or other design tools
