About the Role

This position is based in our Boston, MA office. Candidates must be located in the Boston area. The Intermediate Human Resources Operations Specialist leads and administers one or more firmwide HR programs, such as relocation, background checks, immigration, leaves, or e-Verify. This role requires in-office presence two days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Administers day-to-day HR operations, programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Advises HR team, managers, and employees on program guidelines, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborates with internal and external parties to ensure adherence to firm policies.
  • Prepares, tracks, and reports program information, including expenses, agreements, and files using reports, spreadsheets, and software.
  • Maintains program data, including spreadsheets, files, paybacks, expenses, and invoice payments.
  • Processes invoices associated with the program.
  • Analyzes current and historical reports to identify program issues and recommends improvements.
  • Prepares quarterly, bi-annual, or annual reports for managers, HR teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Reviews programs for legal compliance and recommends process or policy changes.
  • Manages vendor relationships and escalates issues as needed.
  • Provides analyses and recommendations to improve program performance.
  • Leads assigned programs and participates in HR project teams to enhance processes and efficiencies.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional directly related experience.
  • 2 years of related experience.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office.
  • Ability to manage details, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Solid knowledge of HR practices, policies, regulations, and programs.

Schedule

This role requires in-office presence two days a week.

Pay

Pay range: $66,456.00 – $109,616.00 USD. Compensation is determined by factors including role, experience, skills, certifications, education, and geographic location. Bonuses are discretionary and may not apply to this position.

Domestic and/or international travel may be required (10% or less).
